Khao Sok National Park, located in Surat Thani Province, Thailand, is a stunning paradise tucked away from the crowds. After a scenic boat ride, we arrived at a floating hotel on Cheow Lan Lake, surrounded by towering, jagged peaks that felt straight out of a movie. The mountains were huge and dreamy, rising dramatically above the misty waters, creating an otherworldly landscape. The park’s ancient rainforest and rich biodiversity, home to species like Asian elephants and the rare Rafflesia flower, added to the magic. The next morning’s sunrise brought the landscape to life—mist rising from the lake, birds singing, and the tranquil sounds of nature filling the air. Spotting elephants in the wild, moving through the water, was a mesmerizing experience that made this place unforgettable.
